Eskaton M Lodge

April 24 Eskaton Monroe Lodge greeted us again.
Hats & Taps having fun with Carol's latest rendition of
 "Everything Old Is New Again".
Carol's in the pink and always smiling!
Carolyn and Linda 1 lead this dance.
Carolyn, Lois, Connie, Linda 2, Marie, Linda 1, Carol and Mary
dance "All That Jazz" and the "Charleston" to finish first set.

We love the showy "I Love You So"!

Lois's skirt shimmers.....
as we all try to shine with "Roxie" and "Boy From new York City."

You cannot catch Mary without a gleeful grin!
Even from the back we sparkle!
Connie misses Liz in The Windy City segment.
Ruth is getting really good at catching certain poses!
Thanks, as always, Eskaton Monroe!

Eskaton Gold

Hats & Taps found a river of gold at Eskaton
in the month of St Patrick.
The enthusiasm and rainbow of smiles we shared
were much appreciated.
Eskaton Gold River was celebrating birthdays
 and having a wonderful party.
We were very happy to be a part of this event.
Hats off to everyone, especially the birthday people!
Another great catch of the groups smiles!
Our Irish numbers were a big hit.
Once again, our circle of love is always so fun as we smile
and giggle at each other.
Then turn to share that feeling....with the audience.
Harrigan that's ..... well, Linda 1 and Mary
So fun to see our shapes and timing together!
The flirtatious smiles are part of our signature and training from our leader Carol.
March 30th brought our Irish numbers to a close for this season. We'll miss doing them til next year but now look forward to the numbers Carol is reprising for Spring.
Thanks much, Eskaton Gold River!  We hope to come back soon.

St. Paddy's on Campus

St. Patrick's Day at Campus Commons was a first for some of us. Half of Hats & Taps belonged to the recently retired group Classy Tappers as well and had performed here before. Some residents recognized the gals. We all had a marvelous time.
We were given a very nice room to accommodate our costume changes.
A full house, many dressed in their own Irish garb, welcomed us heartily.
Part of the audience was off to the right and left of center stage.
Turning to all four corners for step kick, step kick, step kick ball change allowed us to see so many more happy faces!
The windy city section of Roxie is well depicted by Liz's fluid flexibility.
Kicking up our heels is what we love to do in
Boys From New York City!
Lots of green in the audience!
We appreciated the oohs and aahs for both our costumes.
The luck o' the Irish was with us this whole performance.
That Pot O' Gold ...
at the end of the rainbow,
for us, is the eye sparkle, tooth twinkle and many thanks that we
receive for our entertainment. We thank you Campus Commons!

Country Club Manor

Happy Hats & Taps returned to Country Club Manor
on Friday, March 13th.  We love this audience!
Introducing yet another new crowd pleasing costume,
We dance

I Love You So,
Roxie and
Boys From New York City dressed very apropos!
The sparkle from our head to toe outfits reflect back
from the audience and energize our smiles
making the fun last longer than the performance on both ends.
Harrigan, That's Me! Well, Mary in the middle that is.
Two Lindas on the left and Marie, Liz, Carol and Carolyn.
A favorite formation of Carol's; the love and laugh circle
sets the stage for the second set
of Irish numbers
Irish Washer Woman and I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover
follow Harrigan.
Mary poses with some happily entertained audience members.

Ruthie dances with an audience member who really knew his stuff!
Did I mention we love this audience!?
We look forward to next time, Country Club!
