Birthday Bash (s)

We're how old? 

Everyone in Hats & Taps handles birthdays differently. 

Carolyn, Liz, Linda 2, and Mary, who is closer to winter but still looks 

like a spring chicken, celebrate with cards, banter and laughter.

 We had a grand time and ate til we were tapped out. 

Seriously, we had to fight the leaden feet and nap time urges to get through practice but we did accomplish some cobweb cleaning and look forward to our cowboy numbers coming real soon.

 Plenty of hot air still left in these wind ...... pipes.

 We were happy to have Mary's visiting friend, Kris, join us.  

 Carolyn, Lois, Mary, Linda 2, Linda 1, Liz, Marie, Kris, Connie and Carol. Linda 1 made a fabulous carrot cake from scratch. Thanks to all for yet another wonderful birthday celebration!

And speaking of Birthdays,...Doug is also a spring!
Lois led the Ladies in song and recognition of appreciation to Doug
for sharing his house and putting up with all us tappers!

Happy Times Cafe

May 14th, at the Happy Times Cafe, Fremont Presbyterian Church, Hats & Taps was called back for an encore.  We fell in love with this group first time and hope we see them many more happy times.

Eskaton Fair Oaks

Hats & Taps fared well at Eskaton Fair Oaks! 

April 29th found us at another new venue for some of us.

Marie, Liz, Lois, Linda2, Mary, Connie, Linda1, 

Carolyn & Carol love our Charleston numbers costumes!

One of Carol's latest ideas is to star a couple of the gals

 and bring new formations to our dances.

 Linda 1 and Carolyn perform in front to "Everything Old is New Again"

while the rest of us play back up.

I'm ready for my close up Mr. Demille!

 For "All That Jazz", Lois, Liz and Marie take center stage.

 We take our turn in the chair...

ham it up for the audience....

do the shimmy, ..and all that jazz.

The Charleston is a peppy number with Linda 2 leading out.

We enjoy the energy from the wonderful audience.

And put more pep into the real Charleston step

That was so much fun and went fast!

We twirl our skirts in "I Love You So."

With 3 rows changing to Carol's clever choreography in this dance,
everyone gets time in the front.

After "Roxie", we leap with Mr. Bear keeping an eye on our line.

Here we come, ... with "Boys from New York City".

Ok Carol, are you going to change the step this time?
Keeping up with Carol keeps us ever on our toes, and always smiling!

 April 24 Eskaton Monroe Lodge greeted us again. 

 Hats & Taps having fun with Carol's latest rendition of

 "Everything Old Is New Again".
