Family functions, farewell to a favorite pet, and trailer travels put the Blog on the back burner for a couple of months. We plan to play catch-up soon. Misty
July is usually the month for time off. Hats & Taps is back in the groove, learning Carol's newly choreographed dances and musically refreshing brain to toe coordinations.
Another dance extravaganza occurs on Sunday, June 13th, 2pm, at Mission Oaks Community Center. Many thanks to Carol, and all of the helpers and performers. For Carol's groups, the themes are Broadway Rhythms and Red, White & Blue Review. Mission Oaks is celebrating their 35th Anniversary.
May 13th, an ever gracious Carmichael Elks, SIRS group, invited Hats & Taps back for another performance. A first time out for the number "One". The group appreciates every opportunity to work on Carol's choreography. First time jitters can result in some interesting steps, or an unscheduled change in choreography but always that necessary first time to work out the kicks!
Do we want to come back and dance again for this nice audience? Thank you and Yes SIRS!
Two shows in April brought out some colors for Spring. Not to mention Easter Hams up top, doing a favorite "Little Old Lady". The audiences of the Fremont Presbyterian Church and the California Federation of Women's Club, Elks Club, were quite complimentary and fun to perform for.
You can tell by all the smiles that the group loves what they do!
