Hats & Taps was invited to perform at a special volunteer dinner at Eskaton in Carmichael. We rarely do evening shows but being RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) members ourselves, this was a real honor. Over 100 volunteers who serve Seniors were in attendance.
Carol, Marie, Mary, Carolyn, Connie, Liz and Lois
The two Lindas could not make this one.
The raised stage had wonderful sound for our taps.
Black canes work for Mary, Liz, Connie and Marie
The twirler girls with silver canes were Lois, Carol and Carolyn.
What a great way to wrap up this Broadway season set.
Hats & Taps will take the rest of July off and resume in August.
We were One happy group here.
No matter what, we follow Carol's "Always Smile!" direction.

Boy From New York is Carol's baby and our signature dance.
We may hold Boys in reserve for possible encore requests while we revise more numbers.
Connie tries to quiet us down but we're not quite ready.
This performance went so fast, we just were not ready to quit!
We have learned that having fun is more important than perfection.
And we have found laughter in our foibles. It can't get better than that!
Hats & Taps thank Carmichael Eskaton and this lovely audience for the opportunity to perform and share in the joy of volunteerism. We were surprised and thankful for the goodie bags that were left in our dressing room. Again, a great way to leave for our summer break.
Special thanks to Eric for taking pictures and Glenn for the videos!
